Chrome OS

When Google announced their own operating system, at firstĀ all we knew was its name: Chrome. There were no images and it would be months before anyone could catch a glimpse.

Om Malik, founder and senior writer at the GigaOM Network, wanted to give his readers a preview of the future. He commissioned me to research and design concept imagery of Chrome.

The artwork included an aesthetic treatment, taking into consideration Google’s brand, their product portfolio and potential user interface features. The images take an informed look at how Google would integrate their existing products - such as YouTube, Google Voice and Android - into the design and functionality of their own OS.
